Each product used in the food and pharmaceutical industries can be stored and transported at different temperatures. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the temperature and humidity values in order to prevent the product from being damaged during storage. The determination of whether the desired temperature values are really achieved at every point of the warehouse is made by temperature and humidity mapping.
The way to present the measurement results of temperature and humidity values in the most understandable way is through the preparation of a report enriched with visual content. For this reason, in temperature mapping, not only the temperature graph but also the temperature isotherm map of the warehouse is presented to our customers. In this way, reporting can be made for all kinds of variables (As a result of combining the sketch of the warehouse and the device layout with the thermal image, it can be determined more easily which location is the coldest and which location is the hottest in the warehouse.
The same process can be applied to transportation. Especially in cold air transport vehicles, the coldest and hottest places of the vehicle’s body can be easily determined along the road.
In order to determine the most critical points for storage and transportation areas between 2 … 8 °C, the entire capability of the warehouse can be tested with risk scenarios as well as mapping studies in warehouses. Thanks to the measurements taken when the warehouse is empty and full, the effect of the load in the area on the temperature distribution can be evaluated. With tests such as power cut, door opening, it can be determined how soon the warehouse will go beyond the temperature limit values in the most risky situations.
